CAJE American Nusach Concert (1986)
The Conference for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) held a summer conference that regularly attracted thousands of Jewish educators, rabbis, cantors, and others. Exciting musical programs each evening were a highlight of the event. In 1986, Rabbi Les Bronstein put together a concert to highlight the new Jewish music of that time, which he dubbed, "American Nusach." Other artists participating included Craig Taubman, Debbie Friedman, Farbrangen Fiddlers, and Beged Kefet. Billy Dreskin is on piano, and the drum sounds on Lo Alecha came from Jeff's new toy, a Roland TR-505 drum machine. All songs below are © Kol B'Seder.
